# Biomol Evidence Alpha — Researcher Brief

## Current status

Biomol Evidence Alpha is a controlled researcher-alpha platform for protected biomolecular evidence workflows.

It currently supports:

- Structural Triage
- MD Evidence
- Pilot Access Status
- protected result access
- protected artifact downloads
- usage counters and quotas
- Integrated Evidence Dossier planning

## Function 1: Structural Triage

Structural Triage helps researchers prioritize large protein-structure panels for manual review.

Input:

- CSV with `uniprot_accession`
- optional `target_id`, `category`, `notes`

Output:

- ranked target table
- confidence/range evidence
- source provenance
- review-priority summary
- downloadable evidence bundle
- manifest and checksum files

Current pilot scope:

- guided first review: 100–250 targets
- standard pilot: up to 1,000 targets
- larger runs: scheduled request

## Function 2: MD Evidence

MD Evidence helps researchers convert compatible MD trajectory packages into protected evidence summaries.

Input:

- topology file
- trajectory file
- metadata JSON or CSV

Confirmed format paths:

- PSF + DCD
- PDB + DCD
- GRO + XTC

Output:

- file identity
- SHA-256 hashes
- parser status
- frame count
- atom count
- residue count
- RMSD summary
- RMSF summary
- radius-of-gyration summary
- downloadable evidence bundle
- manifest and checksum files

Current pilot scope:

- compatible small-to-medium trajectories
- larger trajectory support by coordination

## Function 3: Integrated Evidence Dossier

Integrated Evidence Dossier is planned.

It will combine Structural Triage evidence and MD Evidence into one researcher-readable dossier for a selected target or project.

Planned output:

- PDF dossier
- JSON evidence package
- provenance summary
- computed metrics
- review checklist
- artifact links
- manifest
- checksums
- scope notes

## Pilot key policy

Pilot keys are issued individually.

Standard pilot key:

- 20 jobs
- 30 days from first registered job
- up to 1,000 Structural Triage targets
- up to 500 MB MD Evidence upload quota

Pilot key 01 is internal validation only.

External pilot keys should be assigned one key per named reviewer or lab contact.

## Researcher workflow

1. Receive pilot key.
2. Check pilot access status.
3. Run Structural Triage or MD Evidence.
4. Review the protected result page.
5. Download the evidence bundle.
6. Submit structured feedback.

## Scope

Biomol Evidence Alpha organizes computational evidence for expert review.

Scientific interpretation, biological conclusions, therapeutic relevance, or regulated use require separate expert review and independent validation.
